Debt has risen

The Lord came to me to begin my quest to reach all politicians at the time of the national debt crisis. I was reading my daily blogs when my screen went blank and God came down to speak to me. He said, "Son, help these people to see the disasters they are causing. Teach them the commandment 'thou shall not steal,'  for they are stealing from thine brothers and sisters."  Shocked and unsure of myself, I accepted and knew that this would not be the only problem I needed to address. God went on to tell me of all the other problems, but that is for a later post. Why would our country extend the limit to the amount of debt we can accumulate? Going back on your word is never allowed, so why do you think it is okay? Why don't you come up with a solution that will actually be followed and agreed upon. Instead of arguing, act. Your job is to make decisions, yet that is the thing that you as a whole are not good at doing. Why waste time arguing while our country is in trouble when decisions need to be made? Compromise is one of the most important things for our country and without it our debt and many other problems will continue to grow. Stop making excuses. Stop deciding that just a little more won't hurt. Stop finding the easy way out. Remember why your rules were put in place, not to be changed and certainly not to be cheated. Just as the priests thought no one noticed their wrong doings, you think that no one will notice your failure to fix the problems of our country. The answer to both of those is that no sin goes unnoticed. Someone, somewhere is keeping track.

  1. I wish you were a politician Malachi. It's not so easy. If my side says it's willing to compromise, where's the guarantee that the other side will meet us. If they stick to their plan, then I look like the weak one. Besides, it's all their fault that we're in this mess!
